Max & Woody’s – Terms & Conditions

 

We know how important your cat’s wellbeing is, and we’re committed to providing the best care possible. Please read the following terms carefully before booking our cat sitting services.  

 

Veterinary Care & Emergencies

 

• You authorise us to seek veterinary assistance if we believe it’s necessary for your cat’s health and wellbeing.  

• Any veterinary costs, including out-of-hours care and transportation, will be your responsibility. We will always try to contact you or an emergency contact first, but if urgent action is required, we will proceed in the best interest of your pet.  

• We are happy to administer prescribed medication; however, diabetic cats must complete a 24-48-hour trial stay before longer bookings can be accepted.  

 

Emergency & Unforeseen Circumstances

 

• In cases of extreme weather or natural disasters, we will use our best judgement to ensure your cat remains safe and cared for.  

• If your assigned sitter experiences a personal emergency or illness, we will arrange for another qualified team member to take over and will notify you accordingly.  

 

Booking Duration & Special Requirements

 

• For the wellbeing of your cat, we do not recommend bookings exceeding 21 days. If you require a longer service, please discuss it with our team.  

• If your cat requires daily medication, a small fee of £2.50 per day applies. For bank holidays, including Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day, this increases to £3.50 per day.  

 

Additional Charges & Supplies

 

• Worming & flea treatments are particularly important during the warmer months. If you’d like us to provide these, a charge of £6.00 applies.  

• Special dietary needs? Please ensure enough food is provided for the duration of your booking. If additional food is required, we will purchase it on your behalf and add the cost to your final bill.  

• House cats or those staying indoors will need sufficient litter. If it runs out, we will restock it and add the cost to your final bill.  

• Holiday surcharges:

• Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Year’s Day: Additional £5 per day**

• Other Bank Holidays: Additional **£4 per day* 

 

Behaviour & Safety

If, at any point, we determine that your cat poses a risk to our sitters' safety, we reserve the right to terminate the contract. In extreme cases where care is not possible, we may arrange for temporary boarding at a local cattery at your expense. This would only ever be a last resort for the safety of all involved.
